No whimpy colors or typefaces. No flowers, rainbows or puppy dogs. Design is challenging communication, strong color, arresting typography. Simplicity wins. Wide open spaces bring clarity both visually and thematically.
The cornerstone of my design work for Southbrook Church, has been to anchor series branding on a 80’x20′ projection surface. This 3944×1050 digital display leveraged hardware from Visa Systems to composite up to four video sources, anywhere on the projection surface. Designs were then translated to print, web, and mobile platforms.
Design and production always held an end goal of “creating an environment where people could experience the presence of God“. Ideas should never be pushed to be cool or edgy, but must live in harmony with the narrative of The Gospel.
